The domestic poster for 20th Century Fox's The Happening is pretty cool, but wait until you see the international one inside. The new one sheet features a lot more blood and an funny as it sounds, dead people. M. Night Shyamalan's first R-rated horror film is headed to theaters July 13. Read on for a look or click the title above for stills, trailers and more.

M Night is one of the best working directors today. I'm pretty stoked for this movie.

Horrorfan1992, you only like PG-13 "horrors" and remakes of cult classics. For once, a sci-fi horror thriller looks interesting. This will be good!

A review for a screening has come in and it's fucking horrible. Check it out on Rottentomatoes. Yeah, high expectations for me, but the review had me laughing with the idiocity of the film. M Night was a one hit wonder.

the movie looks interesting and has potential with whalberg but it looks like a rip off of some sort of the signal, which was a great film and will be hard to beat

M. Night's only good movie so far was Sixth Sense. while i am holding SOME hope for this new flick, i have to agree with horrorfan. M Night is a self involved prick who doesn't make good movies anymore.

I have been a fan of M. Night Films and am looking forward to this movie.

That is a sweet poster. None of the trailers give much indication of how it'll go. So I guess I'll hold off judgment until I see the movie.

That's a cool poster. I am not a fan of this director but I wanna see it b/c I like Zoey and Mark....And this is the 1st R rated horror film by this director.

The only one of his movies I didn't care for was Lady in the Water. I really dig 6th sense, unbreakable, signs, and the village. well paced, good characters, and inventive scene construction. i haven't seen the Signal yet, but I want to and I agree that they look similar. I try not to read reviews before seeing something myself.

Yeah Slasher I'm a fan of Zooey too. Should be interesting to see how she goes acting in something which isn't a quirky comedy.
