Today we scored an exclusive look at a new teaser poster for Rightoff Entertainment and Vertigo Entertainment's remake of The Echo, which was directed by original helmer Yam Laranas and stars Jesse Bradford, Amelia Warner, Iza Calzado, Louise Linton, Carlos Leon and Kevin Durand. The story revolves around a young ex-con who moves into an old apartment building, only to learn his neighbor is an abusive police officer who savagely beats his wife and daughter. When the ex-con tries to intervene, he becomes trapped in a curse. Read on for the pic.
Saying it is from the executive producers of The Ring and The Grudge is no longer attractive or good for me.
That SHUTTER remakes is so fucking awful! Anyways I wanna see this film. I hope it won't blow.
The Echo at last! I've been waiting ages for this to come out. It's one of the best ghost stories I've ever seen. Not your typical gory slasher movie, even if I love those too. But really scary and artistic at the same time if you can imagine it. Saw the original and YES! something different at last!
This is scary in a really weird way coz not much blood in there but like I said just SCARY. Poster doesn't say when release is so we're still dying for more details if anybody's got it. I heard some pics are out there somewhere but no luck tracing them. So does anyone anywhere know anything? that would be great.
This is an incredibly boring poster. And Wharmon is totally right about the whole "executive producer" line not meaning a thing. You have the chance to do ANYTHING with a teaser poster, this is totally generic and ticks every box on the standard requirements list...
