Inside you'll find some photos of the outside of a grocery store used in the film, courtesy of B-Dub. In the remake Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.
'B-Dub' writes in: "Down the street from me last night around 7pm they were shooting a scene for MY BLOODY VALENTINE; it was at a small grocery store, that they changed the name of for the film. I watched them shoot a scene. It involved a girl getting out of a police vehicle (SUV) and entering the store. The girl had fairly long brown hair and was wearing a mid-length coat and the vehicle said Harmony County police (I believe). Earlier in the day, i was told that they were shooting two blocks down on or near our bridge. I live in Kittanning, PA, a fairly small town that sits on the allegheny river around 45-miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Later in the week, I believe they are going to be shooting at a police station in Ford City and I heard that they are going to be using local mines for some shooting., Tour -Ed Mine, which is a touring mine about 15 to 20 miles away, closer to Pittsburgh." The film hits theaters January 23, 2009.
i was an extra coal miner in the movie and got some on my cell of filming in the mines but dont know how to get them up on here
