Why does every post finish with "The remake will focus on Jason Voorhees -- who will wear the mask and kill -- and keep the famous setting of Crystal Lake?" I think we got that point by now. So we've seen that the movie is filled with hot chicks, an asian guy, a black guy, some white kids, and a dude who looks like he might not need too much make-up work to fit the part of Jason. How about they start posting up some shots of the actual Jason?!?

my gues would be because they've already mentioned they are pretty much keeping Jason's look for the remake secret more or less

The original (and sequel?) didn't have Jason wear the mask, so the info within the dashes is relevant. Also, not everyone follows the news religiously. Imagine how many people discovered the site only recently and only learned of the remake via this post?

If you want to see a F13th remake...you are not just all of a sudden stumbling into this post. It means you've been living under a rock. On another note, it just doesn't have to be Jason stuff. That is just an example, I'd like to see some stuff from the set location as well. Just some more info than who's in it. As long as Nick Cannon or Busta Rhymes isn't in it, I don't care who they cast.

disanti, you are wrong about the news posts; having a summary at the end of each post is useful for new readers like Steviris said. The cast is hot, which sometimes means the acting can suffer, but this is Friday 13th so let's face it, the roles arn't going to a challenge.

All I am saying, is that there have been how many posts on this movie? Just put that description in the movie profile they have for F13th. If someone is that out of the loop and searching for answers, they can just click on that to read about the movie. And this is the only movie I keep seeing a re-occuring message in it's posts. All the post had to say was "Here's the new hot chick added to the cast of the f13th re-make. You may recognizer from (insert crappy movie/tv show). F13th is filming now in TX, more updates as they come in. Thanks.".....oh and by the way this film will not feautre Jason Voorhees, or the mask, or even his mother. It's actually a romantic comedy. I'm excited for this movie, regardless of it'll be good or not. Anything Friday The 13th I'd see. I'm not really disappointed with the cast. What were you expecting, 30 year olds to play teenagers? I'm glad Kane Hodder is not Jason, he's way too bulky and zombie-like. Everyone thinks he's the best Jason.

Well, maybe you're the one out of the loop since they've been doing this for many movies. I don't see why she has to have been in "crappy movie/tv show", so that's irrelevant. And the rest is just... yeah. If you don't like to read the description, don't read it. They usually add it at the end, based on what I've seen, so once you get to it, skip it. Either way, not everyone is in the 'loop'. So by just posting news like 'so and so in such movie' wouldn't really satisfy the reader.

i thought it was prettry clear this isnt a remake atleast not in the sense that the Halloween and most remakes are.

Yeah, that's basically it. especially since jason isn't in the original F13th (well not as this one will portray him anyway). and why the hell do these kids all look so young.

All sniping over the wording of the news updates and tired "Is it a remake or not?!?!?" gibberish aside, another solid casting grab for the Nispel and company. Very hot girl, and one who doesn't look too much like the other female cast members.

They look young because they are young and they work at a camp. But, if they are too young for you, maybe in part two (if they start a new F13th franchise) Jason can take out a retirement home. Oh and to answer the questions from way up the list about what tv show they were in...maybe you can go back and look at their work. But all she has really done is CSI episodes and shiiiit. I mean we all know the lead character from supernatural so you know what kind of performance he is going to bring. That is actually helpful. And just in case anyone forgot, this movie is base in the year 1775 and Jason has been sent back in to time fight the british along side George Washington....Carver.

Dude Kane Hodder was the original Jason. . Besides What do you want Jason to do dance around like some cheerleader from Bring it On, or freakin do some kinda Jet LEE martial arts.
