Today we scored a look at the Cannes sales poster for Eric Valette's (One Missed Call) latest feature, Hybrid, which was scripted by Neal Marshall Stevens. The pic is about a female mechanic in a Chicago police garage who spends a night of terror with a hybrid car. Oded Fehr (The Mummy, Resident Evil: Extinction) and Shannon Beckner both will star. Read on for the poster.
His remake for OMC is AWFUL!!!!! And the movie that movie MALEFIQUE which supposedly got him fame I did not like. This one sounds interesting so I hope it doesn't suck.
......aw hell I thought this was Takashi Miike(yes with two i's no spelling mistake) not this F***head please next time say " from the director of the remake of one missed called".
anyway I'm going with buffybuddy on this one sound like it's a modern day re hatch of Christine but instead of a killer muscle car it's a killer hybrid I was expecting Bryan Cranston to be casted as the lead especially with his breakthrough performance as Walter White in Breaking bad
Kaname Tousen why would it be necessary to go up any mountains? Its supposed to be an urban-type environment from what i understood, look at "Christine". I think it will be scarier if its a car synonymous with the words "family & friendly" such as the Prius rather than a Jeep or large SUV
in case ur wondering wut kinda car that its gonna be...it's a Black Nova!! ha...i know cuz they were using my work as a movie lot for a parkade or something rather in which we always use as barns for cattle and horses during AHA and CWA...anyhoo...least u know wut kinda car it is now...not like i was sworn to secrecy
OOps sorry about the slip up.
Anyways, I have been on the set and it is not about a Prius. It is actually about an alien that becomes the "soul" of a vehicle and then kills people as it lives off of organic material. It actually jumps from one vehicle to the next so there is not one specific vehicle. The stuntwork and special effects looked pretty good and I will be seeing this one in the theatre.
