Seriously, what the hell has been taking so damn long?! Today Aint it Cool News stumbled across this new ad for a company called BT, which features the little rascals from GREMLINS tearing up a server and a bunch of computers. At the end of the article Merrick teases, "We've recently been hearing unconfirmed (and extremely faint) whispers about what was presumed to be a new GREMLINS movie project... wonder if this is what the chatter was about?" I can only hope...
they better make a third gremlins! that would be awesome!!!i loved those movies and so did my hubby to be! and not no 3d crap either. i miss that fuzzy lil guy gizmo.
That was AWESOME! XD I'm dying for a third Gremlins flick. It needs to happen, and horrorchick is right, none of that cg crap, stick with the good old puppets and what not. If Rambo, Rocky and Indiana Jones can have new movies, so can Gizmo!
How could anyone not like Gremlins? I think we all find them endearing and would like another installment. Hopefully if this does happen it doesn't fucking suck and screw up all our good memories of the original.

A new Gremlins movie would be sweet. Agreed with all these comments about no CG, they have to be puppets.
Since the gremlins have been out-of-work creatures for nearly 20 years, I figure they'd be cheap to use in a commercial. I doubt it's hinting at a third movie, which I would only want to see with the involvement of Joe Dante.
the ONLY way i would watch this is if Rob Zombie is directing, off a Rob Zombie script, and starring his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, as a trashy, redneck,_______________!
This is only a BT ad, i doubt there will ever be another gremlins, i hope i eat these words, but we know there willnever be another one. I'm glad they used puppet effects & no CGI.
I'm gonna jump on the skeptic train here. I'm not sure how much this ad could be hinting at another movie. Stripe appears in this ad and I remember him dying. Then again, with Stripe present, it could be hinting at a remake. I'm really not seeing enough information here to logically make a prediction one way or another.
I had to come back and have another look at the video and I don't at all see how this could possibly be part of a gremlins movie campaign. It's nothing more than a an advertisement for a computer support service. Besides, there's still way too many other movies left to remake and knock-off before they get around to trying to revive the mini puppet monster fad that blew in and out so fast. Remember, if they bring back Gremlins, a revival of Ghoulies, Munchies, and Critters is likely to follow.
Great commercial. I haven't seen either of the Gremlins in years and it totally took me back. I'd absolutely love to see a third in the vein of Gremlins 2.
We'll see a remake of GREMLINS in the next 2-3 years is my guess.
The original film was a HUGE success. My guess is Spielberg has some kind of hand in why it hasn't happened yet... he produced those films, no?
