i'm so excited Shauna MacDonald and Natalie Jackson Mendoza are going to be back and that Neil is producing! i hope this will be as good as part 1!!

Hopefully Natalie isn't alive, because it was pretty darn clear at the end of part 1 that she was D-E-A-D.

Seriously Neil Marshall has been making bad decisions with movies. 'The wicker man' 'Doomsday' and now this.

Dariofulci... I only saw the US theatrical version or I saw it on Stars (a cable channel) and I really liked it. How did the director's cut ended? What was the difference between the two?

Neil didn't do or have anything to do w/ 'The Wicker Man'.

Hmm, sounds like the original teatment you guys posted a few months ago which is great because its very rare now days that you actually get sequels that picks up after the original. Most sequels wanna do their own things. The first one was a pretty good little film, I'll deffinatley check this one out.

I don't really like the plot. I was hoping for part 2 to be totally different. I wanted those crawlers to come out at night and kill a bunch of people in the mountains.

Oh god, it looks like that treatment posted a while back was RIGHT! The original movie was good because of what it did with character drama and paranoia. But, from what the treatment present, it's going to be yet another shallow American horror movie.

Les Simpson, one of the Crawlers from the original, was approached to reprise his role in "The Descent II" but turned it down and I applaud him. The first film was SO good - leave well-enough alone!

The problem with The Descent 2 is that the original told a very good story and tied it off well. I was appauled at how the ending of the original was changed for the American audiences but it's clear now that this was done to secure the plausibility of a sequel. The idea of Sarah going back into the caves is totally ridiculous!

Very sad, it needs all new characters, and the fact that they would force Sarah back into the caves in inane.

This is kind of random, but can anyone tell me whether the first movie is at all actually filmed in the Appalachian mountains?

My prediction: Juno will have started turning into one of these cratures when they find her. They look like they were human at one point. Can't wait.

The US version ends with Sarah crawling to daylight, but I just got done watching it again (it was on tv hehe) and Juno was screaming for a minute as Sarah runs off so of course Juno probably died. So I'm curious as to how Part 2 will begin and end, i hope it comes out before the end of this year!
