We are proud to announce today that major motion picture production company, Platinum Dunes has partnered with Bloody-Disgusting.com to launch the official Platinum Dunes website and blog. What you'll find over at the Platinum Dunes Page is info on all of Platinum Dunes' productions, along with an ongoing blog by Producer Brad Fuller. If you click here you can read Fuller's first three blog entries and leave comments that will be read and responded to directly by Fuller, one of the producers behind THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and the forthcoming remakes of FRIDAY THE 13TH, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, ROSEMARY'S BABY and THE BIRDS. The new official Platinum Dunes page will be a place for official confirmation for all rumors you hear and will also be a place where you'll be seeing some HUGE news in the coming weeks. If you hit up the official page now, you can read some crazy stories, like about the haunting on the set of THE UNBORN! Check it out, bookmark it, watch it and get ready for some surprises soon!
Wait, so the official Platinum Dunes page is hosted on Bloody-Disgusting?
Hahahahahaha . .
Everything finally comes together. The next step is just renaming B-D to Platinum-Dunes.com. Seriously.
great! this means we can look forward to plenty of unbiased Bloody-Disgusting reviews of Platnium Dunes' garbage movies AND plenty of quotes from Bloody-Disgusting appearing in non-revenue generating print and tv ads for Platnium Dunes' movies too! it's a win/win for horror fans...
shamrock33 brings up a good point. i've loved BD for forever, but is this going to become biased and unreliable horror news source now.
p.s, except for The Hitcher, i must say i've liked all of Platinum Dunes' films. i just hope BD can stay unbiased.
i wonder if you'll be covering their remakes very closely. hahaha.
holy crap guys. great news for the site, but please god DO NOT SELL-OUT! If these remakes are shit, call em shit. Or you'll lose us.
"... the forthcoming remakes of FRIDAY THE 13TH, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, ROSEMARY'S BABY and THE BIRDS."
Okay, now this is just... pathetic.
Am I the only one who is embarrassed to admit to be a horror fan these days?
This article marks the day that all credibility in the news and reviews was lost. Congrats on selling out to the man. I can't wait to read all sorts of hype and non-news. Can we please get some flattering headshots of every no-name new cast member for the F13 remake as they are announced? Oh, and please announce them one-by-one to make it seem important. I can't wait to hear the great review the upcoming Friday movie is gonna get. Mr. D, keep it pithy for the TV spot!
