Mmmmmmmmmmmm.....sounds pretty cool....and deffinitely original.........

Joshter, is that sarcasm I sense?! I read a synopsis on AintItCool, and this film sounds a lot like "Independence Day [2]" w/ a good dose of "Battlefield Earth" (*shudders*). I can't say this sounds original at all, but I'm a sucker for alien invasion/sci-fi flicks (unless they are named "Invasion" and feature Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman in starring roles). So bring it on, I'll give it a shot. I just hope the final title isn't "Alien: Resurrection" (*shudders again*).

Sounds like a decent idea, but we've all seen how a good idea can get twisted and perverted into something unrecognizable by the time it gets to the screen. We can only hope that the idea is handled carefully and creatively.
