ALL MONSTERS ATTACK (a.k.a. GODZILLA'S REVENGE): Classic Media

Ichiro is a latch-key kid in the late 1960s Japan, a country drowning in urban blight and big, nasty bullies. He escapes his dreary life by dreaming of Monster Island, a fantasy world where Godzilla rules and Ichiro is befriended by Godzilla’s son, Minilla, who's experiencing his own troubles with a bull monster, Gabara. When Ichiro is kidnapped by crooks, the lessons learned from his monster pals help him stand up for himself and fight back.

THE BEAST IN SPACE: Severin

In 1975, European sex symbol Sirpa Lane shocked the world with her performance as a maiden defiled by a ferociously aroused animal in the erotic classic THE BEAST. Five years later, the beautiful-but-doomed actress would plummet from arthouse to grindhouse in this insanely unofficial outer space 'sequel' packed with rampant sex, cheezy effects, barnyard passions and yet another graphic ravaging by a hugely-endowed man-beast.

BOARDINGHOUSE: Code Red/BCI

A man with telekinetic power inherits a big house with a horrible past. He opens the house up as a boarding house and very quickly becomes inhabited by a group of gorgeous women. Soon the long sleeping evil supernatural power inhabiting the house starts killing off the tenants one by one.

THE COMPLETE TOXIC AVENGER (7-disc set): Troma (TEX’S PICK OF THE WEEK)

Since its premiere in 1984, The Toxic Avenger has become a world famous icon. Now, Troma has packaged Toxie's greatest films together into The Complete Toxic Avenger! Follow Toxie's entire history in this amazing seven disc set, which includes the unrated Director's cut versions of The Toxic Avenger, The Toxic Avenger Part II, The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie and Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Part IV! The Complete Toxic Avenger also includes the never-before-released complete series run of the Toxic Crusaders animated series and the feature length behind-the-scenes documentary Apocalypse Soon: The Making of Citizen Toxie!

Tex Says: Holy Tromatic experiences…this set is worth picking up just too FINALLY get the animated series. Damn, I wonder what ever happened to my little brothers Toxic Crusaders action figures!

DARK SHADOWS: THE BEGINNING Collection 4 (4-disc set): MPI

With its alluring tales of Gothic mystery and supernatural intrigue DARK SHADOWS became one of the most popular daytime series of all time. The character of Barnabas Collins a guilt-ridden 175-year-old vampire brought the show tremendous success. Now for the first time on DVD MPI presents the spooky series rare early episodes before Barnabas. This set contains episodes 106-143 which aired from November 21 1966 to January 11 1967

DELIRIUM: Blue Underground

Criminal psychologist Dr. Herbert Lyutak is a deranged sex maniac who murders young women. His beautiful wife is tormented by visions of medieval torture and lesbian orgies. But as their madness grows more twisted, they will descend even deeper into a nightmare of dementia, depravity and most of all, DELIRIUM!

DOOR INTO DARKNESS (2-disc set): NoShame

In 1973 Dario Argento became widely known in Italy as the Italian Hitchcock, foremost through the broadcasting of this 4 episode TV series. These legendary and much sought-after mysteries are finally available on a 2 disc set!

Tex Says: Argento-philes rejoice, after being out of print for several years, NoShame brings this 2-disc set back on the DVD. No more sixty-dollar used DVDs for you. Now, would somebody please talk to Paramount about licensing out Four Flies on Grey Velvet!!!

GUTTERBALLS: Plotdigger Films

A brutally sadistic rape leads to a series of bizarre gory murders during a midnight disco bowl-a-rama at a popular bowling alley. One by one, players of two teams meet blood-drenched gruesome deaths at the hand of a black bowling-gloved masked killer. This alley will run red with blood by sunrise and the shocking twist that reveals the killer will shock even the most jaded viewer!

HARM'S WAY: Peace Arch

Mavis and her daughter Victoria flee the city looking for refuge at an isolated home for abused women. The woman in charge, , immediately takes young Victoria under her wing. Under Bea’s tutelage, Victoria becomes increasingly hostile toward her mother, worrying Mavis that Bea isn’t the kindly woman she appeared to be. As Mavis comes to learn that other women who’ve stayed at the farmhouse are now missing, she confronts Bea. But she’s too late as Bea has convinced Victoria to murder her mother. Locked away in the barn, Mavis must escape and free her daughter from the grasp of a psychotic killer before she loses her forever.

HEADLESS HORSEMAN: First Look

Seven college kids take a shortcut on their way to a party and unfortunately end up in Wormwood – a "lost" town in the middle of nowhere. They find something strange and sinister happening there- bones and weird decorations line Main Street. The cause: local Wormwood legend says on All Hallows Eve one hundred years ago, a crazed man tortured the youngsters in town and then cut off their heads. In retaliation, the townspeople killed him by cutting off his head. Seeking revenge every seven years, he returns and takes seven heads from children in the town. Now the seven visitors find themselves hunted one by one as the Headless Horseman claims his due. Each will do whatever it takes to survive.

HITCH-HIKE: Blue Underground

While on a cross-country drive, a bitter writer and his beautiful wife pick up a stranded motorist. But when this hitcher turns out to be a depraved psychopath, their road trip takes a vicious detour into sex and savagery where the miles are marked in mayhem and vengeance is the ultimate rule of thumb.

IN THE BLOOD: TLA

Cassidy is a popular college jock with a secret; he s attracted to men. Testing the waters he makes a date with Victor a sexy Latino hustler. Their initial foreplay instigates strange and disturbing visions of his sister Jessica covered in blood. With a serial killer roaming the campus targeting blonde-haired girls Cassidy becomes panicked. As his visions become more frequent Cassidy realizes that he must completely embrace his gay desires if he is to crack this gory mystery.

KARAOKE TERROR: Synapse

A satirical tale of two groups of outsiders, who make war on each other, set to a soundtrack of retro karaoke hits. A gang of young slacker guys (the Gakis) idle away their time just hanging out, their sole passion in life being elaborate karaoke recreations of their favorite Showa-era songs (oldies from the 40s to the 80s). Across town, a group of thirty-something divorced women calling themselves the Midoris do much the same thing, until one of the Gakis kills a Midori after he's rejected trying to pick her up. The Midoris retaliate, and the absurdist battle of revenge is on, with weapons escalating from knives to guns and eventually to rocket launchers and beyond.

Tex Says: Looking for some serious satire with a sake-twist. You gotta check out this crazed flick from the warped mind of author Ryu Murakami (AUDITION).

KILLING CAR: Redemption USA

KILLING CAR is one of Jean Rollin's most unusual films and is a real departure from the vampire theme for which he is best known, though it still maintains Rollin's signature mix of mysterious femme fatales and female flesh. The film centers on a strange Asian woman who steals an American car and then proceeds to shoot and kill anyone who gets in her way for no apparent reason.

KNOCK KNOCK: Lionsgate

You never know what you will find on the other side of the door. A group of popular high school students learn this lesson when they stumble into the path of a vicious killer. The gruesome result leaves the town in horror, as two detectives work to crack the case. Suspicions mount as the school recluse is seen wandering around in the dead of night and the remaining survivors fear the worst: a knock that no lock can withstand.

Tex Says: Not getting enough actual Giallo action with all the Blue Underground re-releases this week? Want to check out a recent homage to both the 80’s slasher film and the 70’s spaghetti imports? Don’t answer too quickly ‘cause this flick is a real dud.

THE NEW YORK RIPPER: Blue Underground

A blade-wielding psychopath is on the loose, turning The Big Apple bright red with the blood of beautiful young women. As NYPD detectives follow the trail of butchery from the decks of the Staten Island Ferry to the sex shows of Times Square, each brutal murder becomes a sadistic taunt. In the city that never sleeps, he's the killer that can't be stopped!

NIGHTMARE CITY: Blue Underground

When a radioactive spill causes mass contamination, thousands of infected citizens are transformed into bloodthirsty undead fiends. But these are not your standard stumbling gut-munchers; this is an all-out attack by fast-moving, flesh-ripping, ass-kicking maniacs that can only be stopped by a bullet to the brain. Get ready for an all-you-can-eat buffet of gunfire, gore and gratuitous aerobics where zombies run, chaos reigns and heads explode. This is NIGHTMARE CITY!

PARANORMAL STATE: The Complete Season One (3-disc set): A&E

Paranormal State is the very first series that explores paranormal investigations through the eyes and minds of college students. This series follows the dramatic life of Penn State University college student Ryan Buell and the other student members of one of the first university sanctioned Paranormal Research Society (PRS) as they seek to find the truth behind terrifying real life mysteries. Although the members of PRS are your basic college kids - dealing with the problems of school dating and finding their way in the world - they are definitely looking into other worlds as well working on cases that include poltergeists haunting and the darkest areas of the unknown. Each week they are contacted for help by outside parties ranging from The Catholic Church to ordinary families who are terrified by something supernatural happening in their lives.

POT ZOMBIES: Troma

Pot Zombies is the first in a series of releases produced and directed by up-and-coming filmmakers using techniques they learned from Lloyd Kaufman's Make Your Own Damn Movie Box Set! Rockin' soundtrack featuring DOA, Electric Frankenstein, Honky, Blitz, Bottles and Skulls, Damage Case and The Dwarves!

Tex Says: What’s got zombies, zombies, zombies and pot, pot, pot…but not one ounce of plot? This flick! Gather some buds together if you plan on watching this one!

PRISM: Monarch

When a young autistic boy witnesses a traumatizing event and falls into a mysterious catatonic state, a lovely young psychologist takes on the challenge of helping him. But her solitary quest for answers gets more peculiar and unnerving at each turn, leading her in a direction which tests her professionalism, relationships, and her very hold on reality.

SCHIZO: Redemption USA

A young woman, who as a child witnessed the violent murder of her mother, marries and then finds that her close friends are being horrifically murdered one by one and that each death seems to be bringing her closer to the murderer.

TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA: Classic Media

The 15th and final entry in the original Godzilla series, TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA stars Katsuhiko Sasaki (GODZILLA VS. MEGALON) as an altruistic scientist and Tomoko Ai as his love interest, the cyborg Katsura. With Ishiro Honda in the director’s chair for the last time, and a masterful score by Akira Ifukube, this movie returns Godzilla to the all-out spectacle of his heyday

THE TORTURE CHAMBER OF DR. SADISM/DEATH SMILES ON A MURDERER: Legend House

In THE TORTURE CHAMBER OF DR. SADISM horror icon Christopher Lee plays a cruel nobleman torn to pieces as punishment for his crimes against innocent local virgins. But terror once again grips the peaceful European countryside when he rises undead from his glass coffin, seeking his own brand of twisted vengeance!

Taking a very different approach to Gothic horror, DEATH SMILES ON A MURDERER tells the tale of mysterious young Greta, a bewitching amnesiac whose beguiling beauty triggers the erotic attentions of everyone she encounters...with gory and murderous results!
