This was such a good book and with the novelist having written the screenplay, I'm really exited for this to hit a closer fest (keeping my fingers crossed for a Fantastic Fest screening).

Exactly, Mr Sicles. The story was so different and original. This book was a new perspective on vampires, coming of age, and a lot of other things. It certainly makes me optimistic about about the future of a genre that seems to be slowly killing itself; and I mean books "and" film. Being that I only speak english, it's maddening that I have to wait until October before the translation of his next book becomes available through amazon uk. This movie almost can't be bad.

i never cared for blade or underworld, but i like vampires, so hopefully i will enjoy this.
