On April 29th, iTunes will release the long-awaited end credits overture from Cloverfield (something we've ben dying for) by Michael Giacchino. For the first time, the full length orchestral piece, entitled "ROAR!", will be available exclusively from iTunes paralleling the release of the film for download! Giacchino’s “ROAR!” showcases an epic monster movie style, one that captivated audience members throughout the end credits. The film version of “ROAR!” totaled 9:45. The iTunes release finally makes available the full length, unedited piece that runs 12:15. WOO!

This is cool! Although since it's shaky-camera style and your Ipod screen is small. Great chance you are going to puke on your Ipod.

I didn't get what the big deal was about this tune at first, but it's fuckin' epic. Coming from a completely non Cloverfield fanboy perspective it's still an ass kicking monster theme. (Well i probably am a cloverfield fanboy, how'd that happen?)

Yes. The song is in the actual movie, although only over the end credits, not in the movie proper.

Very nice, "ROAR" really is a great piece of music so I'll certainly be picking this up.

Can't wait to get the music! Also I really want the film but I hope it isn't just another one of their lame "rentals".

Seems as pointless as the Blair Witch Soundtrack.

I'm glad it wasn't used in the movie and only in the credits, that would have ruined it's home movie style

Awesome, awesome news. I'm a huge Giacchino fan, since he does the music for Lost - but I didn't know he did the Cloverfield score. Sweet. :)
