Indie shingle Bold Films has signed Joseph Ruben (The Stepfather, The Forgotten, The Good Son) to direct medical thriller Jack, with shooting expected to begin this fall. "Jack," penned by David Venable, centers on a doctor who rehabilitates and ultimately falls for an accident victim with memory loss, unaware that he is actually a killer. Ruben previously directed "Sleeping With the Enemy," "The Good Son" and "The Forgotten." Litvak, Walters and Lancaster previously collaborated on "Bobby" and are in post on "Legion" and "Starship Troopers 3."
