Now that Resident Evil 2 is set to film in August, expect to see some serious cast news within the next few weeks. Today it was reported that there was a new addition to the cast, who was once full of "Rage"...
James dropped me an email informing me that Counting Down received the following scoop, "I read an a article, in a movie magazine, discussing sequels and up-and-coming production films. That actress Emily Bergl (Carrie 2: The Rage) will join both Milla Jovovich and Eric Mabius in , which begins filming the week of August 11th, 2003. Bergl had played Rachel, in 1999's sleeper sequel The Rage: Carrie 2. She'll portray Claire Redfield in somewhat of a small scene in comparison to the game's second installement - in help of escaping from Raccoon City. The role will not be much of a lead, but will add to the playout of the entire movie, based from the game's storyline itself."
