Arriving on DVD July 8 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is BONE EATER, whcih was directed by Jim Wynorski. In the film a trio of construction workers (William Katt, Bruce Boxleitner and Gil Gerard) break ground on what is said to be Indian holy ground. They discover an ancient artifact and remove it from the earth, unleashing an evil spirit known as the Bone Eater. With every victim, the Bone Eater grows more powerful. The local Sheriff and his daughter seek the help of a wise Indian girl to uncover the secret of the spirit before it's too late! Also starring Veronica Hamel (TV's "Hill Street Blues") and Walter Koenig (TV's "Star Trek"), Bone Eater originally premiered on the SciFi Channel February 9, 2008. Read on for the trailer.
I am watching this right now on Syfy and Bruce Boxleitner, Gil Gerard, and William Katt are not construction workers. BB is the sheriff, GG a rancher, and WK was an archeologist I think. But I've liked it so far. I'm even rooting for the demon.lol!
