In addition to the casting of SAW star Shawnee Smith, Bloody-Disgusting was tipped off that Judd Nelson, William Devane and Jo Braddy have all joined the cast of The Grudge 3, which is currently filming in Romania for a direct-to-DVD release this October. They join the previously announced Matthew Knight, Shawnee Smith, Beau Mirchoff and Johanna E. Braddy in Toby Wilkins' directing effort. In the film a young Japanese woman holds a secret to ending the curse of the Grudge. She travels to a haunted Chicago apartment building where she encounters a family battling to survive the ghosts. Together they confront the ghost of Kayako to save their souls from their impending tragic fate.
God I hate these movies. The only saving grace of any of this news is that these abortions are now going straight-to-DVD. Did the second film not make much cash? I thought it did.
Since its DTV I hope it can get a R. The grudge films would be sooo much better if it went R. Grudge one was scary when I FIRST saw it, i must admit, it indeed was, Grudge 2 was pretty good but I hated how they flipped from different characters and time frames without telling you.
