UPDATE: 'Diary of the Dead' DVD Artand Specs Revealed

SPECS NOW INCLUDED: Genius Products and The Weinstein Company has provided DVD Active with artwork for Diary of the Dead (review), which stars Michelle Morgan, Joshua Close, and Shawn Roberts. The George A. Romero directed film will be available to own on May 20, and should retail at around $24.95. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. Genius Products and The Weinstein Company has provided us with artwork for Diary of the Dead which stars Michelle Morgan, Joshua Close, and Shawn Roberts. The George A. Romero directed film will be available to own from the 20th May, and should retail at around $24.95. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a commentary by George A Romero, director of photography Adam Swica and editor Michael Doherty, a For the Record: The Making of Diary of the Dead documentary, and 4 featurettes (Character Confessionals, The First Week, The Roots, Familiar Voices)

	H200 6:20pm, April 10, 2008 Though it does capture the atmosphere and what the movie is aiming for, the level of impact is extremely weak compared the the covers such as "28 weeks later," "Land of the Dead," and so forth. And the dumb red logo is extremely unnecessary.
	jmacgrath 12:48am, April 13, 2008 The dumb red logo is on all Dimension Extreme releases. It just their branding, just like how Warner Premiere has the Warner Premiere logo in a corner of the DVD Cover, or Rogue Pictures, or Alliance Films... though this one is a little more obvious, lol.

AND FUCK THE GUY WHO CAME UP WITH IT. THAT SON-OF-A-BITCH SHOULD BE FLOGGED, FUCKED UP THE ASS, THEN FIRED!!! Fuck that Prom Night remake while I'm at it too.
