Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired theatrical and DVD rights to the horror filmmaking mockumentary Brutal Massacre: A Comedy (trailer inside). The feature stars David Naughton ("An American Werewolf in London") as a director trailed by a docu crew on a horror film set where Murphy's Law rules. "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" star Gunnar Hansen, "Dawn of the Dead" star Ken Foree and three female leads from "The Evil Dead" round out the cast. Stevan Mena's film will be released in New York and Los Angeles later this spring, followed by a DVD release featuring a new documentary about the mockumentary

Now, of course I want to see this. But it's hard to get excited when movies like this seem to get fucking endless release date issues. Of course it comes out in New York and LA. If I lived in one of those 2 places I would have better things to do right now then blog on the internet.

I think this looks like it could be quite good. I heard it's based on a true story. Trust me, I'm a Pepper. Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too?
