It cuts off at the end, how lame. I'm still rather mixed on whether or not I think this looks like it'll be good. They should've used the mythology and not made a stand alone movie, since that's not what people have really been waiting for for the past 6 years.

Does it pick up where the other film left off looked like it did...Just as long as there are no werewolfs then I will be fine...it did look sick though

The movie takes place in real time, 6 years after the finale but the movie is a stand alone story. It won't be dealing with the alien conspiracy. Some things like Mulder and Scully's baby will be given mentioned but not focused on.

Looks pretty lame to me so far. Really low budget feel to it. Maybe it should have gone straight to dvd instead.

weed wacker your a dope. X files has never been a mega budget series and it doesn't need to be to be a good series and a good film. This movie will be a good one mark my words.if it was a bad idea it would not have been pushed into production about 6 years after the tv series ended. You have to love the xfiles and if you don't then you are a real boring person with no imagination or feel for good science fiction.

JStephen i agree the fans need some real answers to the tv series lame ending. They never really did give a true finish to the story. A stand alone film is cool but a real bummer to someone like me who loved the tv series and followed the story that played out over the 9 years it was on tv! long live mulder and scully! i guess?
