In an article about a new film entitled "Underage", Variety confirmed news we've heard circulating around at test screenings that DreamWorks' remake of the awesome Korean horror pic A Tale of Two Sisters has been officially renamed to The Uninvited. Tom and Charlie Guards version centers on modern-day teenage sisters Anna and Alex Rydell who return home from a mental hospital only to find their recovery unraveling because of a cruel stepmother, clueless father and a lingering ghost. I had read rumors about this. Anyways, I don't like it but in a way it's better this way because if I ever mention A TALE OF TWO SISTERS I do not want to clarify if I'm talking about the original or remake...i hate that.
Apparently the test screening went okay, you can read some of the reviews at the imdb.com boards which confirm that the movie is definitely getting a PG-13 rating.
Last I heard, the remake rights for "The Uninvited" have even been bought.
