It was been a long, long time since we heard anything about Maurice Devereaux's indie horror-thriller End of the Line, and then all of a sudden we had a screener. Today we added Ryan Daley's review of the film. Having ordered from Amazon Canada, I finally sat and watched this last night, and have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has blood, suspense, some jumps, good characters and some cool creatures (though be warned the cover is misleading).
I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely watch it again.
What the fuck is UP? This movie is bullshit. I mean, I can get past the zero-budget but the acting is some of the worst I've ever seen anywhere. And not in the fun 80's way, more like the bad children's TV show kinda way.
The practical effects were occasionally great, and there are a couple good ideas here and there, but mostly this is just a really really bad movie due to the acting.
I have no idea why I can't find a bad review of this, it makes no sense. I did like the Twilight Zone style ending though.
