Jaime King (pictured inside; Sin City, Tripper) has given her heart to Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine 3-D, being directed by Patrick Lussier. King will star in the remake of the 1981 slasher film about a murderer who kills those who celebrate Valentine's Day. She will play Sarah Palmer, a woman who has married her teenage sweetheart's nemesis, and the pair have a child together. When she and her first love are reunited, it becomes clear that she still carries a torch for the man. Production is slated to begin May 12 with a January 23, 2009 release planned. And let me just say... does this really need to be in 3-D? I can't believe it's already becoming a "gimmick", but I'll buy the idea of seeing King in 3-D.
