Sony Home Entertainment is lucky I didn't review this film because I would have given it a zero, but if you click here you can read BC's barely kind review for April Fool's Day, the bland remake from Stage 6 Films. "All in all, there is absolutely no reason anyone should watch this movie. The “unrated” label means absolutely nothing – this film is BARELY worthy of a PG-13 (hell, they probably got a PG from the MPAA and were embarrassed by it), there is no actual gore or nudity, the twist is obvious (though to be fair they add a little extra bit of business to it, however it’s of no real consequence), the characters suck..." Its funny, I was talking to one of the guys from Film Threat about this a few weeks ago and they said the Butcher Bros. said it was going to suck, big time. Sucks isn't the right word for this film... it's downright unintelligent and insulting. I mean, it was like Dynasty without the slapping.
The Butcher Brothers directed THIS? How did they go from The Hamilton's to this? And fuck that Prom Night remake while I'm at it.
