These are supporting characters. The chick who's playing Saya is Asian(Korean, to be exact). They shown pictures of her months back.

Thanks for the clarification magnaderalpha. I thought there was ANOTHER movie based off the manga. It's not that there's a 'fat' ninja, they are in a military school and this is probably one of the classes the students take (hence the reference about Saya trying to discover which of her CLASSMATES is a demon).

Masiela, who's in most of the pics above is playing Sharon, one of her classmates. She's a supporting character--Sharon. And she's not asian cause it takes place on an American military base when America was occupying Japan at the time -- so many (though not all)of the people on the base were in fact American :p Even in the original Blood the Last Vampire. I guess they're adding a lot, cause Sharon never wield any sword of sorts in the original animated feature, nor did kendo. Apparently the heavier girl in the pic is playing Linda. It seems like they are changing some of the stuff (such as giving her a bigger role). Linda was suppose to be a weaker, skinny, pale and very creepy in appearance. This girl seems the total opposite here wtf :/
