and Dr. Gordon hasn't been comfirmed as dead even on the offical saw website and remember we all thought the whole neck slicing thing in Saw 3's DVD was canon when it was not Saw 4 was a good device to keep the series going and pass the torch no it's twist was a little different but still on point when it comes to how the series can go on for another two movies

without having a supposed cancer patient dying of the inoperable tumor being the villain for two movies and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS ON THAT NOTE!!

I don't know about this...I really felt they were stretching the storyline thin with the fourth entry. It felt out of place and "forced" storywise. This whole series should have died with The Jigsaw instead of becoming a GIANT COW to be milked to death.

I really hope this movie BOMBS after the shitfest money maker Saw IV was...they didn't even try to make it different like they had claimed they were going to. This series should have ended with III.

a little bit after the beginning when rigg was watching Jill's iterrogation he says "she knows somthing" and Strauhm even says something like that a couple of other times.but i dont think it was revealed. and im pretty ure this has somting to do with who is testing Hoffman.shes not the one testing him or anybody else.she KNOWS who is testing him and that same person is the REAL person carrying Jigsaw's legacy and theperson we have been waiting to be revealed.the only way jigsaw would be sure who is rite to carry on his work would be someone who passed a test.just like Amanda.so i doubt Gordon would carry on his work because the writers would want us to be surprised.Also he mite be dead (most likely.) and its gonna be someone we had no idea would be it.and as history showed every detective that appears becomes more significant in the next movie.so im guessing Fisk(the asian cop who informs Hoffman of a doctor being missing)will be moving up to main character status very soon.

ok i recently founf out that High School Musical 3 is going to be open in theaters.......on the same day SAW V comes to theaters!!!!so wat i was thinking is to not see SAW V during the day.....and watch it in the night shows so they would make more money and we could squash HSM 3 at the box office!!!!the annoying cast of that movie makes me embarresed to say i am in high school (freshman).so on October 24 2008 we will teach disney a lesson NOT to f*** with Jigsaw and his fans!!!!!!! Wat was Disney thinking releasing this garbage!! hopefully the producers of HSM 3 will be like "Hey, SAW V is our competition so let's push this film to a direct to DVD release around 2009 so we don't get our a**es handed to us by the uber cool SAW V movie,Lionsgate,and Twisted Pictures."

@ Respect: if both of those movies are gonna be released on the same day, then HSM will blow Saw 5 out of the water as far as money goes. HSM is a juggernaut, and will earn a shitload. It won't take money away from Saw 5 since it's for a completely diff audience, but don't expect Saw 5 to get #1 in the box office

I wish they would just start from scratch and not have any connections to the first 4 (which got progressively worse). Perhaps change the movie formula, *Gore Gore Gore Plot Twist* kinda becomes boring after 4 sessions.

I like SAW alot. We want to see something special in the new movie. The twists are always good, but we need to see a new wave of character development, and more related, breathtaking traps.

I love the Saw-movies and all, but there's just 1 little thing - actually there 2 little things - , I don't fully understand / I gotta get off my chest .. And I was wondering, if anyone would like to help me (understand it) .. But we'll see, after I explained what it was / is .. Here I go .. Last I checked, when JigSaw was alive and kicking, OBVIOUSLY, HIS traps WEREN'T .. What's the word I'm looking for?? .. "unescapable" .. AMANDA'S however, WERE .. (think about Troy, Kerry, etc etc) Now I 'found' these 2 examples, when watching the 1st Saw, and thought; HOW COULD THESE PEOPLE POSSIBLY ESCAPE FROM THEIR 'TESTS'???!! { I didn't use the word 'traps', purposely, because with these examples, there were NO sign of ANY traps, WHAT SO EVER .. Remember, JigSaw didn't ONLY make traps, he ALSO put 'his victims', in different. let me call it, 'tests' .. } And in case anyone was wondering .. YES, I DID think about Amanda, but that thought quickly disappeared, as these examples were one of his 'first victims', and Amanda came LATER into the picture .. 1 - Mark Rodriguez " Mark was first featured in Saw and Saw: Rebirth as one of Jigsaw's first targets. John saw him at the hospital, where Mark claimed to be sick or have injuries of some sort as an excuse to skip work, when in fact he was perfectly healthy. This was enough for John to make him one of his first subjects as Jigsaw. Mark was stripped of his clothes in a dark room, and had a slow acting poison in his bloodstream. From the message Jigsaw left for him, Mark learned that the antidote was inside a safe in front of him and the combination was written on the wall. However; 1 - the wall was FILLED WITH HUNDREDS of NUMBERS, and he had to choose the right set. {HOW THE FUCK COULD HE HAVE KNOWN THE "RIGHT SET of NUMBERS"???!!!!} 2 - The floor was COVERED IN GLASS, and 3 - MARK'S BODY WAS SMEARED WITH A FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCE. According to Saw: Rebirth, Paul was a bore, but had a good life with a wife and kids. However, in what John would believe to be more of a cry for attention than a suicide attempt, Paul slashed his own wrists and was admitted to the Angel of Mercy hospital shortly after John had learned of his cancer. After John's transformation into the serial killer known as Jigsaw, Paul was targeted for his previous actions and 1 - was placed in a large cage lined with a maze of razor wire. He had to get to the exit by finding a path through the maze, but he only had 2 hours before the door to the room he was in would close, sealing him in. actually jigsaw was alive untill the last 7 minutes of the movie cause 4 and 3 ran concurrently.Jigsaw himself left the mesage for Hoffman,he made the tape and swallowed it(prolly during the fight between amanda and lynn in the other room).Hoffman is NOT the new jigsaw because he is/was a accomplice.someone else will test him in SAW V.yes amanda is confirmed as dead.rigg MIGHT be dead.Perez is still alive...i think

i think that the tape that was played both at the beginning and end of Saw IV has a lot more meaning then we think im really interested as to see how that plays out

I'd like to bet that I am amongst very very very few people that noticed the twist unfold and someone's connection be revealed very slyly in Saw 4 when the very line "The agent behind you will soon kill a man" was played by a tape attached to a puppet directly before agent perez was shot in the face by the puppet. That agent's connection, as well as the tape that was played, was never spoken of again in the film.
