SXSW Review: 'Dance of the Dead' Gets a Perfect Score?!

I;m as shocked as you are... Tex isn't know for giving anything a perfect score and today he did just that. This evening we added his review for Gregg Bishop's follow-up to The Other Side entitled Dance of the Dead, which I've been raving about since I saw the promo footage at last November's AFM market. Tex writes, "DANCE explodes like a shotgun blast of pure teen comedy and devastates everything in its path with a battery of torn off limbs, bashed in brains, severed spinal cords and a night at the prom that makes CARRIE look like PRETTY IN PINK... DANCE OF THE DEAD is the best horror comedy of this or any other year. Now bring it on!" Click the link for the full review or here for all of our SXSW coverage. Watch for a second opinion later this week - and let the hype begin!

Shuan wasn't that funny it did have those stupid parts like the "WHITE LINES" out side the bar and the "IT'S TWO IN THE F***ING MORNING!!" scene but not that much was rememberable about it

Hey guys. I just wanna go on record saying that Dance of the Dead is very different than Shaun of the Dead. Sure it's gonna get comparisons, but it'd be like saying that The Chase and Death Proof are the same kind of movie. Just because it's a comedy and a zombie movie doesn't make it the same as SOTD. I love SOTD. Think of Dance of the Dead as a John Hughes Zombie Movie and you'll really get the vibe!
