Flying a bit under the radar is the horror comedy Dance of the Dead premiering this week at SXSW. We should be seeing some reviews come in soon, but in the meantime check out the official website built just in time for the Texas film festival. On the night of the big high-school Prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn't get dates to the dance. Dance of the Dead is the sophomore effort from Gregg Bishop the acclaimed director of the award winning film The Other Side. Starring Jarred Kusnitz of Otis (also premiering at SXSW), Greyson Chadwick who you may have caught in the kick ass web-series Buried Alive. Rounding out the cast is another familiar face to horror is Justin Welborn who recently starred in the amazing horror film The Signal. My hope are high for this film, I just wish I was there to see it.
