Animation and horror are a beautiful mix, which is why I'm pretty stoked about this project. Today it was announced that Jill Culton will now direct the long delayed Sony Pictures Animation's Hotel Transylvania , which is in bloody development, with Kevin and Daniel Hageman on board to write the screenplay. In the story, a sort of "Romeo and Juliet" with monsters, Simon Van Helsing -- the youngest in a long line of monster hunters -- falls in love with Dracula's daughter. Upon the discovery that they are enemies, the couple attempt to bring peace between the monsters and humans.
