That scene was staged. david duchovny and chris carter have both said they staged that scene cause paps were spying on the set. i would like for there to be more focus on their relationship but i think chris carter likes messing with our heads and ticking us off. i'll keep my fingers crossed for the good stuff but i won't hold my breath.
