Alexander Skarsgard (The Burrowers) has joined the cast of TRUE BLOOD, Alan Ball's new vampire drama series for HBO, as a regular. "True Blood," based on the "Southern Vampire" book series by Charlaine Harris, centers on the love story between a vampire, Bill (Stephen Moyer), and Sookie (Anna Paquin), a waitress who can read people's minds. Skarsgard will play a vampire and Viking who has been alive for more than a thousand years.
I have seen so many vampire movie's and shows over the years that I normally wouldn't have any interest in this. However - Alan Ball did create the show Six Feet Under which was cool. And because it will be on HBO means they won't wimp out on blood and other good stuff. This could be good, this could be very good.
