Today TwitchFilm uploaded the trailer for John Lechago's BIO-SLIME, which looks like one of the most insane movies in a long while. feels exactly the same way. It looks directly inspired by such films as DEAD ALIVE, THE BLOB and even THE EVIL DEAD. You can also check out the official website for some insane stills, read on for the trailer.
Well, it doesn't really look like a rip-roaring party of the century, but it does look like there could be sufficient fun to be had that I wouldn't want to miss. I do have to agree about what we're seeing of the acting. It looks like acting that's trying to be good and failing, instead of a clever and humorous pantomime of the legendary acting we'd see in such movies.
Of course acting isn't the top priority in horror movies. But in some cases the acting is so god awful it just completely ruins the movie for you in the first few minutes. And if you don't believe me, go to your local Blockbuster(ugh) and pick up some of the DTV horror flicks. The "acting" is so bad it kills a movie that might have some potential.
