New Line Home Entertainment has officially announced Juan Antonio Bayona's The Orphanage for release on DVD and Blu-ray on April 22. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with a Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track. English subtitles will (obviously) be provided. Special features included: When Laura Grew Up: Constucting The Orphanage featurette, Horror In The Unknown: Makeup Effects featurette, Tomas' Secret Room featurette, still gallery, trailers and more. In the film Laura returns to the house where she was raised, and decides to transform it into an orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend...
Finally caught this in the theater this past weekend and loved it.
