'It's My Party' Being Self Distributed...

Scotchworthy Productions has put their indie horror film IT�S MY PARTY AND I�LL DIE IF I WANT TO (trailer inside) for sale up on their official website. The DVD includes nine alternate endings, The DVD offers the option to choose between nine different endings, widescreen transfer, 5.1 Digital Surround, Behind-the-scenes featurette, THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT and DEAD RESIN short films and the trailer. Inside you can watch the trailer, see the cover art and read more about the film, which was first announced on B-D last year.

Sara's friends are throwing her a surprise birthday party, which also happens to fall on Halloween night. Sara is a huge horror fan and is also a martial arts bad ass. Her friends are setting the party up in the town's haunted house to help add to the creepiness of the whole thing. In the 1930's the town's venture capitalist went insane, locked his whole family inside and painted over the windows. After no one in town heard from them for a month or so, the sheriff goes in and discovers the whole family chopped up and the body parts placed in different piles throughout the house, all the left arms in one room, right arms in another and so on. The evil in the house woken up, possesses one of the kids who after a pretty gory transformation sequence, turns into a creature who rips the other kids apart. Sara must use her knowledge of horror movies and her martial art skills to get out alive while also paying the bastard of a creature back for tearing apart her peers.

How's that for a self plug? Heh, nice to see you guys throwing a little bit of news up here. Thanks. The movie is available from our website, www.scotchworthy.com on the merchandise page and we'll be touring the conventions this year as well until we pick up a domestic distribution deal. The movie IS a CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE too! This means that you can watch the movie from start to finish as a feature length or if you do the "adventures" option, halfway through the movie it fades into a menu and you get to decide which direction Sara, main character goes. Either she dies or she keeps going, but only you can get her out of the house alive!!!
