We've exclusively learned that Darren Lynn Bousman will be directing an episode of FEAR ITSELF a new horror-anthology airing on NBC. He will direct it after he finishes Repo! The Genetic Opera for Lionsgate and right before going directly into Scanners for Dimension Films, which is currently being developed as Bousman's first picture under his two-picture deal. Darren Bousman became an instant horror icon by directing the last three SAW films for Lionsgate. Watch for more updates as they come in. Click here to see our previous announcement of directors.
I still worry about how tame this will have to be on network TV (damn you Showtime!) but I am happy to have some horror at least coming to prime time so I'll give it a shot. I like some of the names we're getting as directors.
