With Neil Marshall's Doomsday only a few weeks away, B-D's Elaine Lamkin caught up with the director to chat about the movie, which is set three decades after a lethal virus tore through a major country, leading to the country's walling off. During the interview she chatted a bit about the level of gore in the film - especially after The Descent - and also discovered what's next on the director's plate. Read on for the skinny and watch for the full interview soon.

Arriving in theaters March 14 is Neil Marshall's follow-up to THE DESCENT, a film called DOOMSDAY, which is one big homage to '80s action films. The film has received an R-rating, so horror fans want to know, how bloody is the film? Neil says horror fans will be extremely happy, "I think horror fans will be quite happy," he continues, "we have some cannibalism, a few decapitations, someone run over with a tank. Paul Hyett told me that more blood and guts were used in "Doomsday" than in "The Descent" but that it was more spread out through "Doomsday"."

Marshall also revealed to B-D his dream project, which he hopes to get rolling next. "Hopefully, my dream project [is next]. "Eagle's Nest". My version of the Indiana Jones action films, except my Indiana Jones would be named Jack Ravenscroft. Now that the WGA strike is over, whoever wants to take a look at the script is welcome."

Any takers? I hope so.... until then we all have DOOMSDAY on March 14.
