I don't think it's really that big of a deal, which is why I haven't posted this yet, but apparently some people think it is. Ghost House and Mandate Pictures are re-casting the roles of Kayako and Toshio in The Grudge 3, which Toby Wilkins is directing for a direct-to-video release this October. Written by Brad Keene, shooting begins in Bulgaria soon. A young Japanese woman holds a secret to ending the curse of the Grudge. She travels to a haunted Chicago apartment building where she encounters a family battling to survive the ghosts. Together they confront the ghost of Kayako to save their souls from their impending tragic fate.
hell yes its a big deal i mean its the grudge series cause how can you recast roles that were already filled in the first two, would it be cool for papa smurf to be revoiced in the original cartoons back in the 80s like hell no so why the hell would they recast those characters from the grudge lol its retarded how they make these good horror films into direct to dvd releases instead of trying to make them for theatrical release, its just stupid i think
