Before this rumor spreads like wildfire we're going to put it out. Cinema Blend reported that Michael Rosenbaum has been "lunching" with Michael Bay and implies that this means that the "Smallville" star is in talks to play Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes' remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. How two people having lunch turns into a casting speculation is hilarious to me, especially when Platinum Dunes is casting two other movies at the moment. But back on track, we checked our sources and have confirmed that this news is 100% pure BS - even to the extent that Michael Bay has NOT has lunch with Rosenbaum. Worst rumor of the year so far. Keep 'em coming.
Oh thank God that was a rumor and total BS! Rosenbaum is a good actor, but he's got a pretty face, and I can't see him being a Freddy AT ALL no matter how much makeup he has on. At least Englund had distinctive looks to begin with...he doesn't fit the Hollywood mold, and I liked that.

This sounds like a rumor my girlfriend might have started. 2 people having lunch either means that they're planning a movie project or sleeping together I believe. It's a given.
better than resurrection??? I dunno resurrection was shit but the remake has nothing to do with the old franchise or the real old myers. and that was not myers the killer i saw in the remake.

Marilyn Manson is the kid from the Wonder Years, and he had his lower ribs removed so he could felate himself. I'm 85% sure this is accurate information.
That would be just fantastic! Clearly anyone saying he is just a pretty face hasn't seen his work in the last three seasons. He is brilliantly menacing but very comedic at times (watch the bloopers, and his few dark comedy scenes). Oh, I hope this somehow becomes true.
If that happened I'd have to personally do something to stop this movie.
