Teri Polo has been tapped to star in the indie The Beacon. David Rees Snell ("The Shield"), Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty") and Michael Ironside ("ER") co-star in the paranormal thriller, written and directed by Michael Stokes. The movie, produced by Sally Helppie, centers on Bryn (Polo), a thirtysomething woman grieving over the loss of her 4-year-old son. Along with her college professor and author husband (Snell), Bryn moves into the charming old Beacon Apartments. There, she begins to see a boy who died in a fall down the Beacon's elevator shaft while trying to escape his abusive father. With the help of an eccentric young professor (Urie), Bryn tries to save the boy's spirit. Ironside plays a tough career cop who has adopted the residents. Production on the film started this week in Dallas.

horrorchick81 9:55am, February 22, 2008 sounds interesting.....if anyone is a er fan like me who did michael ironside play? i dont remember....good to see teri polo back. she was hysterical in the focker movies.
