Yeah. Unless you're working from a pre-existing source (a novel, play, etc.), you pretty much lose your "remake" status when you change the title and the plot. In the history of bad marketing decisions, purchasing the rights to a middle-of-the-road '80s slasher flick for a remake and then using a different title is right there at the top. With no name recognition value for the hardcore slasher film fans and a story unlikely to entice anyone else into the theaters, this TRAIN is doomed to failure before it leaves the station.
