Today we were supplied with the first photo from Alone in the Dark 2, which features genre favorite Danny Trejo in the role of the witch hunter Perry. "Danny is a great actor, we´ve been fans of his work for years," explains director Peter Scheerer. "We have always wanted to cast him, and the role of the fearless witch hunter was the perfect opportunity", continues director Michael Roesch. ALONE tells the story of Edward Carnby, who joins forces with a team of witch hunters to track down the dangerous witch Elisabeth Dexter. Read on for the photo and more.
Directors Peter Scheerer and Michael Roesch are working on the post production of "Alone in the Dark 2" now. "We´ve finished editing, and are working on the CGI and the sound post now," tells director Michael Roesch. "After months of shooting and editing, It´s great to see how the movie comes together," tells director Peter Scheerer. ALONE is scheduled for a 2008 release on DVD.
The film stars Rick Yune, Rachel Specter, Lance Henriksen, Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Ralf Moeller, Zach Ward, Natassia Malthe, P. J. Soles, Michael Pare, Jason Connery and Brooklyn Sudano. ALONE is written and directed by Peter Scheerer and Michael Roesch. Produced by Uwe Boll.
