Today the first official trailer was discovered for Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman's animated feature film, Coraline, which stars Dakota Fanning, Ian McShane, Teri Hatcher, Keith David and Jennifer Saunders. Read on for a look. Based on Gaiman's tale of a young girl who lives in a big house with an assortment of odd characters. But they're nothing compared to what she finds when she walks through a strange door that leads her into a nightmarish world mirroring the real one, where distorted alter egos of her parents try to keep her trapped forever.

I read the book; it is so creepy! It's like an even more disturbed alice in wonderland. Except evil. Well, alice in wonderland always was creepy and evil. But the movie looks so...... not for children. Still, apart from its disturbness and creepiness I want to see it. Dakota Fanning better be able to pull off tortured and almost insane.
