Sony Screen Gems has officially dumped their film, The Cottage, to the boys over at Sony Home Entertainment. The UK horror-comedy will arrive on DVD April 29. Watch this spot for cover art and specs as soon as they're revealed. The pic is set in the remote countryside and about two brothers who bungle the kidnapping of the daughter of a crime boss and then stumble across a dark rural secret. Wow.. How many cruddy American horror films are shoved out over here?
Its not as though they are bombarded with UK horrors?
Is there any more reason why, other than those in power assuming the film won't work out there?
Oh, well their loss.
I saw this at the weekend (in the UK) and thought it was excellent, far better than the majority of horror films that are released here. I much preferred this to Hatchet.
