Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the long waited UK horror film, The Backwoods, which stars Gary Oldman, Paddy Considine and Virginie Ledoyen. Directed by Koldo Serra, the film arrives at retailers on April 14 and will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. No extras were announced. Set in the summer of 1978, film depicts the apparently quiet holiday of a couple of English tourists who travel to a friend's house in a Basque village, where they find a girl in a cabin in the woods with deformed hands.
