Zombie films seem to be the claim to fame when people decide to make an independent horror film. As many as I have seen, there have really only been a handful that have been any good. Today I was sent a link from Nowhere Fast Productions to their official website for COLIN, which features a trailer and a really bloody clip. In short, it looks promising. From new British Director Marc Price comes COLIN, the first ever Zombie movie told entirely from a Zombie's perspective. Our hero Colin is bitten by a Zombie; he dies and returns from the dead. We follow him as he wanders through suburbia during the throes of a cadaverous apocalypse.
In all honesty this is not the first zombie flick to be told from the zeds perspective....
"Dead men dont die" was told entirely from the perspective of a zombified business man.
"land of the dead" one could argue that the story is told from the lead zombies perspective centered around his evolution into something more than a zombie.
"Zombie Honeymoon" was told, again entirely from a persons point of view as they became a zombie.
Andrew Parkinson's "i, zombie"
"Dead and Breakfast"
"interview with a zombie"
"my wife is a zombie"
"i was a teenage zombie"
"i was a zombie for the FBI"
"I walked with a zombie"
Sorry but the list does go on and on for this idea.
Kudos to them for getting to cannes and all but for backyard zombie epics this certainly is one of the better, Plaga zombie! i dont really need to say more than that
