Paramount Pictures informed us this evening that they've bumped Case 39 yet again, and this time it's brutal. Originally scheduled for release on August 22, 2008, the film directed by Christian Alvart will now be released on April 10, 2009! The movie has been having a lot of trouble during test screenings and they continue to do reshoots and have reedited the film multiple times. You can only polish a turd so many times before it becomes a shiny turd. More on this release as it comes in. "Case 39" centers on an idealistic social worker (Zellweger) who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents only to discover that things are not as they appear.
It went from August 2007, to February 2008, to August 2008, Now To April 2009.
