Arriving on DVD March 4 from Genius Products is the Jessica Alba starrerAwake (review) in which Clay (Christensen) suffers “Anesthetic Awareness,” leaving him fully conscious during open heart surgery, but unable to alert the surgical team surrounding him. As various obstacles present themselves, his wife Sam (Alba) must make life-altering decisions while he faces a far greater pain. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include an audio commentary, seven deleted scenes, a behind the scenes featurette, and storyboard-to-film comparisons. Check out the art inside.
