Even though it has been announced numerous times and has been full cast, Julie Delpy's The Countess has still yet to be filmed! The good news is that Berlin's X Filme International will produce the period piece in which the French actress (ulie Delpy) will take on the roles of scriptwriter, director and star. According to the Hollywood Reporter the film finally starts shooting February 18. Delpy will make her directorial debut on the picture, working from her own script about the legendary Elizabeth Bathory, who inspired many a vampire myth with sadistic rituals that included bathing in the blood of virgins.
