In addition to getting a limited theatrical run this February, we've scored the cover art and full details for Anchor Bay's DVD release of The Lost (review), which arrives at retailers on March 18. You can find all the details on the release inside - Bonus Features Include The Author’s First-Ever Commentary Track!

BURBANK, CA – Based on the best-selling book by renowned author Jack Ketchum (“The Girl Next Door,” “Off Season”) comes The Lost, a psychological thriller about the suburbs, the ennui of small town life…and a serial killer. Anchor Bay Entertainment announces the March 18th DVD release of the acclaimed film. Inspired by actual events, The Lost depicts human horror on an almost epic scale and finds that sometimes the most evil monsters are as close as next door. In addition, The Lost DVD bonus features contain the very first audio commentary track by the celebrated author, as well as a large slice of insightful behind-the-scenes coverage! SRP is $26.97 and pre-book is February 14th.

Adapted for the screen and directed by Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me), The Lost is a suburban fairy tale gone horribly wrong. For sadistic sociopath Ray Pye (Marc Senter, Cabin Fever 2) and his friends, small-town life is a dead-end road of sex, drugs, liars and losers. Ray’s charm, intelligence and good looks are matched only by his insatiable compulsion to kill. And what begins with a sudden act of senseless violence will climax in a mind-blowing frenzy of depravity…with the worst still to come!

The Lost also boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Michael Bowen (Kill Bill), Dee Wallace-Stone (The Hills Have Eyes, Rob Zombie’s Halloween), Ed Lauter (True Romance, The Number 23), Megan Henning (“Seventh Heaven”), and Erin Brown aka Misty Mundae (“Masters of Horror: Sick Girl”).

With bonus features like these, “losing” yourself within The Lost will be easy as pie:

Widescreen (2.35:1) presentation, enhanced for 16x9 televisions
Audio commentary with novelists Jack Ketchum and Monica O’Rourke
Audition Footage
Outtakes
Storyboard Sequence

Anchor Bay has a short memory. It's not the author's first commentary track, he did a commentary track for The Girl Next Door dvd.
