Heathers doesn't need a sequel. Unnofficial or otherwise. This doesn't even look like a horror movie!

This in not the unofficial or the official sequel to Heathers according to this article... and if they is, I do not see any hint of a sequel in that trailer: CHRISTIAN SLATER and WINONA RYDER are re-teaming for a sequel to cult film HEATHERS. Ryder has signed on for the project, as well as Slater, despite the fact he dies in the first film. Slater played bad boy JASON 'JD' DEAN in the movie where he helps Ryder take revenge on a group of popular girls - all named Heather. Ryder tells Entertainment Weekly, "I don't know how much is official; it's a way away. "But it takes place in Washington and Christian Slater agreed to come back and make an OBI-WAN-type appearance. It's very funny." Ryder is currently working with Heathers writer DANIEL WATERS on the film SEX AND DEATH 101. Walters has already agreed write the sequel and may also direct the film.

This is not an "unofficial" or a "sequel". The only thing this has in common with HEATHERS is the writer and Winona Ryder. The things you do to get attention and this isn't a horror movie. I've been paying attention to this film for a long time.

Heathers is one of my favorite movies, but wtf does this have to do with it?

This is in now way a sequel. Same writer director and it has Ms. Ryder in it, but unless they are looking for a new spin to sell it, the story has nothing to do with the original. I've seen it. It is not quite as fun as watching eggs boil. Because when eggs are done you can eat them.

Other than starring Winona Ryder and being written by Daniel Waters this movie has nothing to do with Heathers, and looks painfully bad. But, it's nice to see Winona Ryder's doing something.
