Picturehouse confirmed today reports that Amusement has been bumped back drastically from its April 25 date to September 12. Depending on how you look at this it's either good or bad news. We caught an early screening of the film and it was disastrous - we've been told there have been numerous recuts of the film so hopefully the bump means more time to help deliver a better movie. Jake Wade Wall's script centers on a traumatized woman who's questioned by a cop and a psychiatrist about three stories -- involving a clown, a hotel and a convoy -- that involve her and two of her female friends from childhood.
Kinda torn...the movie looks like it could either be decent or terrible, I enjoyed the trailer, but the name "Jake Wade Wall" doesn't instill much confidence...
In the end...whatever...
The film being disastrous is no shocker, considering that it's penned by the guy who wrote the poorly received remakes of 'When A Stranger Calls' and 'The Hitcher'.
It still looks interesting, everyones opinion now a days is so close minded and most of the time, they go in expecting shit so thats exactly what they come out thinking.
I'll still check it out
Whatever. Loved The Hitcher, but that like two other writers attached, so they saved it from Jake Wade Wall. I personally could care less about this movie. It creates ZERO excitement in me.
well personally i wanna c this film..i mean the trailer looks decent and i wanna check it out and i happened to enjoy the hitcher but when a stranger calls(the new one) was HORRIBLE!!!.....i hope ammusment is good i still have an open mind for this film...
Problem with the new hitcher (and don't get me wrong, I liked it, mostly because I love sophia bush) is that there were SO many moments where the movie could've been over if she had just shot him... she could've saved her boyfriend if she had just blown Rider's head off and boom, end of movie. But otherwise it's still watchable
If it was so "disastrous" why don´t you write review of it? I´d like to read it.
But personally i´m looking forward to it. Looks very creepy and hopefully finally a good and creepy horror movie
